Water Treatment
Pool chemistry starts with chlorine and ends with balance. RXSOL supplies the chlorine products used by hotels, clubs, residential societies and ships' pools: Trichloroisocyanuric Acid tablets (TCCA 90%, including Chlorine Tabs POWERFUL 3-inch jumbo size for floating dispensers and feeders), TCCA granules, Calcium Hypochlorite Granules (65–70%) for shock treatment, Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (SDIC) for fast-dissolving daily chlorination, Chlorine Powder (bleaching powder) and Chlorine Liquid (sodium hypochlorite) for large pools and water-park use. Supporting products: Powerful Pool Disinfectant, Odor Neutralizer, Sodium Sulphite for dechlorinating backwash water, and pH adjusters, algaecide and clarifier on request.
Doses are given per 10,000 litres (for example 1 × 200 g TCCA tablet per 20–30 m³ per week for maintenance; calcium hypochlorite 10–15 g per 1,000 L for shock) with the free-chlorine target of 1–3 ppm and pH 7.2–7.6.
Frequently asked questions
TCCA tablets or calcium hypochlorite?
TCCA is stabilised chlorine for routine dosing through a feeder (slow dissolving, lowers pH); calcium hypochlorite is unstabilised, fast, and used for shock dosing (raises pH and hardness).
How much chlorine powder for a 50,000-litre pool?
For bleaching powder at ~33% available chlorine, about 150 g raises free chlorine by roughly 1 ppm; dose to reach 2–3 ppm and retest after circulation.
What about cyanuric acid build-up?
Using TCCA/SDIC continuously raises cyanuric acid; keep it under 50 ppm by partial water replacement and alternate with calcium hypochlorite.
